Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our premium matcha and tea selections.

What is the difference between Ceremonial and Culinary grade matcha?

Ceremonial grade is made from the youngest tea leaves, offering a delicate, naturally sweet flavor intended to be whisked with water. Culinary grade has a bolder, more astringent profile designed to maintain its flavor when mixed into lattes, smoothies, or baked goods.

How should I store my matcha to keep it fresh?

To preserve color and flavor, store your matcha in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. Once opened, we recommend consuming it within 1-2 months and keeping it refrigerated if possible.

Where is your matcha sourced from?

All MATCHADO products are sourced directly from sustainable organic tea farms in Uji and Shizuoka, Japan, ensuring the highest quality and traditional processing methods.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 24 hours. Domestic shipping usually takes 3-5 business days, while international shipping can take 7-14 business days depending on the destination.

Can I return food products if I change my mind?

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened food products. However, if your order arrived damaged or if you received the wrong item, please contact our support team within 14 days for a replacement or refund.

Is your tea tested for heavy metals and radiation?

Yes, every batch of our tea undergoes rigorous third-party laboratory testing for purity, heavy metals, and radiation to ensure it meets the highest safety standards before reaching your cup.
